More than 300 competitors at the Gacka run

More than three hundred competitors, from three to 75 years old, took part in the traditional eighth edition of the Gacka run, confirming once again that running is a sport for all age groups.

Promotion of sport and the river Gacka

The race, which promotes sports and physical activity and at the same time promotes the beauty of Otočac and the river Gacka, was organized by the Association of Sports Associations of the City of Otočac in cooperation with the city of Otočac. Older participants competed on the 5- and 10-kilometer trails that run along the Gacka River, recently certified by the International Association of Marathon and Long Distance Runners. The youngest competitors ran on courses from 100 to 1000 meters.

A lasting memory

The Wind Farm Lički Medvjed sponsored the race again this year and gave the competitors and race spectators polaroid photos so they could preserve the memory of this event forever.
