Barkan Ride Brings Generations Together in the Heart of Gacka

One of the most joyful and well-attended recreational events in the Lika region, the traditional Barkan Bicycle Ride, once again gathered participants of all generations in Otočac.

In its 18th edition, the ride once again demonstrated why it stands as a unique event in the heart of the Gacka Valley, where sport, nature, and community come together in an unforgettable experience. Wind Power Plant Lički Medvjed proudly supported the event once again as a sponsor, reaffirming its commitment to the local community and the promotion of an active and healthy lifestyle.

More than cycling

As always, the Barkan Bicycle Ride was much more than just cycling – in addition to the recreational ride through the beautiful landscapes of Otočac, the event featured children’s games and a vibrant entertainment program. We thank the organizers and all participants for another wonderful day – and we look forward to meeting again next year, on two wheels, with the wind at our backs!
