Awards for students of High School Otočac

Hard-working students of Otočac High School responded to the invitation of the Wind Farm Lički Medvjed and participated in an environmental campaign for the World Cleanup Day. Forty pupils, 3rd and 4th grades of economics, with the guidance of teachers Gordana Žubrinić, Silvija Vašarević and pedagogue Dijana Nikšić, got down to work and cleaned the school garden.

A promise made is a promise kept: for contributing to a cleaner environment, we rewarded the students with gifts.

Raising environmental awareness
World Cleanup Day is the world's largest civic action in which millions of volunteers from more than 190 countries participate with a common goal - solving the global waste crisis. In addition to a cleaner planet, this environmental action aim to raise global environmental awareness.
