The second met mast installed

Wind farm Licki Medvjed has completed the installation of a second meteorological(met) mast at the location of the future wind power plant near Otočac. Despite challenging site conditions and difficult terrain, installation of 140 m tall met mast and accompanying instrumentation installation was completed a few days ago.

Wind data

One of the most important stages in the development of a wind farm project is the assessment of the wind potential of an area. For this purpose, meteorological met masts are installed that collect a series of data necessary for a detailed understanding of wind characteristics.

In the spring of 2019, Wind Farm Lički Medvjed installed the first met mast, ans last year LIDAR system, which also collects wind data.
